FAQ
The questions I get most. For anything else, just email me.
Yes. Each package works on its own, or you can stack several into one larger project.
My work has helped agencies win a lot of pitches, including Prime Video, Barbie, Stanley 1913, and Planet Fitness. Of course, I can’t guarantee a win — nobody honestly can. What I can promise is my best thinking, and in my experience, it opens doors. Even beyond the pitch itself, it often leads to follow-up conversations, future RFPs, new launches with the same client, and work with sister brands under the same parent company.
Yes. I can combine 2–4 sprints into a custom project designed to give your team the strategic direction and creative fuel they need to get started.
This works best when you already have a solid client brief covering the fundamentals—brand, audience, objectives, messaging, competitive context, etc. If that foundation isn’t there yet, I can build it, but the additional research will add to the scope and timeline.
Custom projects are scoped and priced based on what you already have and what we need to build.
You betcha! I’m a creative director and copywriter as well as a strategist, so my thought starters are real concepts, not strategy dressed up as ideas.
To be clear on scope, you’re getting concepts, not fully built executions. I’ll take each idea as far as it needs to go to make it clear and inspiring — whether that’s a stunt, experiential concept, campaign idea, name, headline, script, or topline execution. What you won’t get is full comms planning, detailed channel mechanics, or production-ready creative.
They’re highly usable ideas your team can build real work around, and some have gone on to be fully developed and executed. I’m happy to share my writing portfolio.
One scan means I dig deep into one area of focus — a brand, IP, fandom, category, passion point, behavior, or cultural conversation.
The question can take different forms: Why do people love Owala water bottles? How does Gen Z feel about Squishmallows? What makes the One Piece anime fandom tick? What conversations are happening around sunscreen right now?
The key is focus: one subject or question = one scan. If you want to explore multiple distinct areas — say, “What conversations are happening around milky toners right now?” and “What is the cultural perception of Rhode’s Glazing Milk?” — those would be two separate scans.
One package tackles one defined creative challenge.
If we’ve done a Culture Scan together, I can turn the insights from that scan into ideas for how they could come to life. Or, if you already have a creative platform or strategic direction, I can develop ideas that extend it — whether that means social ideas, stunts, experiential concepts, OOH, or whatever the brief calls for.
The key is the guardrail: once you point me at a specific challenge, platform, audience, or channel, that defines the package. A new direction or a separate set of asks is a new package.
Both! All of my offers can work for brands or agencies. Pitch CPR is geared toward agency pitches, but it can also work brand-side when you already have a brief and it just needs some sharpening, a fresh perspective, or a little strategic fairy dust.
Totally get it — some teams prefer more touchpoints along the way. My sprints are designed to be focused and efficient, but that doesn’t mean I have to disappear after I deliver.
If you want more support, book one or more Strategy Jams throughout the project. We can stay in sync, pressure-test the work as it develops, solve challenges together, and keep going until your team crosses the finish line.
Zero, zilch, nada! I thrive working independently. We kick off together, then I work solo, and we reconvene when the work is ready for final delivery.
Absolutely! I always recommend creatives join the final delivery call so they can hear the thinking, ask questions, and react in real time. And if they want to keep jamming afterward, you can always book one or more Strategy Jams.
My scope includes presenting the final work to the team that hires me. So if an agency hires me, I present to the agency team — not the agency’s client or as part of the final pitch. If a brand hires me directly, I present to the brand team.
If you’d like me to join a client presentation or pitch, we can discuss timing and additional fees separately.
I work through my business email rather than client Slack or client-issued accounts.
If we kick off before 12pm ET, that day counts as Day 1. After 12pm ET, Day 1 starts the next business day, unless we agree on a rush fee.
Sometimes. Rush fees depend on how compressed the timeline is and on my availability. I can’t always accommodate a rush, but I’ll always do my best.
Some clients book me days or weeks in advance; others reach out the evening before. I’ll always do my best to accommodate your timeline, but the earlier you reach out, the easier it is to secure time on my calendar.
No, which is how the packages stay fast and affordable. If you need edits or refinement, I can be re-engaged at a custom rate, or you can add another package.
